素晴しい水曜日(Wonderful Wednesday) #1

As part of a goal to blog more I've decided to add another weekly post.  My geekery seems to have gotten lost and my blog has gone kind of spiritual.  While that's not a bad thing, it's really not the intent of my personal blog so I welcome you to 素晴しい水曜日Which roughly translates to Wonderful (or magnificent or even splendid) Wednesdays.  It's my favorite things I've come across on the internet over the week.  I'd have done Friday Favorites but since my PBP posts are for Fridays I wanted to spread things out a bit and add some routine with it.  So here we go!  Click on the pics to go to the page of the item.

< Cool graphic I haven't made yet / >

I have a slight bunny obsession and I'm pretty sure I need this shirt in my life.  Like a week ago.

 Geek Love by DorkusTee

(a new shop which I think may develop an obsession with if they churn out these kinds of t-shirts)

Omg this shop has tons of these headbands and I'm in love!!  I never really saw the appeal of this whole headband thing everyone seems to be into until now!  WANT!

I'm also completely in love with this Bat'leth necklace.

However this same seller has the most awesome thing in her store that I would love to do with Sakura and Takara.  Assimilated pet portraits.

Is that completely awesome or what?  I want one so bad!

Hey could someone get me a beer?  No wait!!  I just need my wand.  And this t-shirt.

Accio Beer T-shirt by bareit

bareit also has this awesome onesie

Adorable!!

Oh and I think I may have finally figured out what to do with those floppy disks I have laying around (Ummm kids these are what we used to use instead of flash drives.  Now get off my lawn ya little bastards.)

Or you can buy an expertly made one by Fishstikks

Now this last one is one I discovered on EPBOT which is the personal the lovely Jen of CakeWrecks
Who you should follow on both blogs because she's awesome and geeky and if I ever meet her I will glomp her.

Which unfortunately have sold out *sobs uncontrollably* but I'm totally going to check back at the shop to see when they come back in stock!  By LizGlizz

Well that's it for this week!!

Pottermore Quiz!

So I stole this from Kristina Horner (italktosnakes) who stole it from Hayley.

1. What's your Pottermore username? ScarletSpirit
2. What House do you think it sounds like? I don't know as though it really sounds like a specific house.
3. What House do you want to be in?This is the only thing that causes me anxiety about Potter more, hahaha.  I've identified as Ravenclaw for YEARS and I think I might have an identity crisis if I get sorted into another house.  ^w~  Only half kidding with that.  Pretty much I'd be ok with anything but my order of preference is 1-Ravenclaw, 2-Slytherin, 3-Hufflepuff (yes as much as I make fun of Hufflepuff I don't place them last) and 4-Gryffindor.
4. Does your username relate to you at all? I think it does.  I love the color red and I'm "bitten" ya know.
5. What kind of wand would you wish to get? Ya know, I don't know.  I kind of thought something with Unicorn hair or Dragon heartstring.  Pretty much I can't wait for this part of Pottermore.
6. Are you pure, half-blooded or Muggle born? Probably half-blooded.  My mom is such a muggle, haha, but I think if my Dad were alive we could have gotten really into Harry Potter together so I bet he was a wizard.
7. Which day did you get into Pottermore? Day 2.  The 1st day was the one day in a week Darius woke up after 3 am, lol.
8. What shape is your Patronus? A rabbit.
9. What does your boggart look like? I'm with Ron (and Kristina as this is her answer as well) on this one - a big-ass hairy spider.
10. Would you rather be an Animagus or a Matamorphmagus? Animagus.
11. If you were an Animagus, what animal would you be? Hmmm I think I'd either be a rabbit or a cat.  I think being a cat would be much more fun though.

So there are my answers.  If you take the quiz leave a comment linking to your answers!  Would love to see what other people's answers are!!

The Owl's Arrival

This morning the owl came to let me know that I the magical quill had written my name in the book of magical folk

Waiting for the email to finish registration was murder wasn't it?  Also it feels really weird to not be BittenUsagi somewhere, haha.  But ScarletSpirit seems quite appropriate as well. ^w^

Have you gotten your owl yet?
